Test the Spirits

1John 4:1-6

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already. Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. They are from the world; therefore they speak from the world, and the world listens to them. We are from God. Whoever knows God listens to us; whoever is not from God does not listen to us. By this we know the Spirit of truth and the spirit of error. When I first received God's calling to preach the Gospel, I sincerely wondered what difference I can make to the already overcrowded market of gospel ministers. However God made it clear to me that He wanted me to do His work and complained bitterly about His Pastors and referred me to Jeremiah 12:10-11. There are preachers everywhere but not all has the Spirit of God, many are in it for their stomach and therefore displays the spirit of anti-Christ. To discern the right Spirit, you need to see their works and you also need the Spirit of discernment. Verse 4 of the above scripture says that you have overcome because greater is he that is you than the devil and his cohorts in the world, so that greater Spirit in you will lead you, so that you cannot be misled or be afraid. Jesus by His indwelling Spirit in you will lead you to greater heights and greater accomplishments IJN. Remember also that the spirit of anti-Christ will give you all the excuses you need not to fellowship with others this Sunday morning, you must resist him with all your strength and God will help you. Heb 10:35 ? Heb 10:39 Therefore do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God you may receive what is promised. For, "Yet a little while, and the coming one will come and will not delay; but my righteous one shall live by faith, and if he shrinks back, my soul has no pleasure in him." But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who have faith and preserve their souls. Enjoy your fellowship with Jesus today. Every blessings.

Daniel 11:32
“And such as violate the covenant he shall pervert and seduce with flatteries, but the people who know their God shall prove themselves strong and shall stand firm and do exploits [for God].”

Daniel 11:32 AMP

As darkness increases in the world the children of God are called to shine as light, the more darkness increases  the more we will be shining brighter.

Proverbs 4:18 AMP
“But the path of the [uncompromisingly] just and righteous is like the light of dawn, that shines more and more (brighter and clearer) until [it reaches its full strength and glory in] the perfect day [to be prepared]. [II Sam. 23:4; Matt. 5:14; Phil. 2:15.]”

Isaiah 60:1-3

“ARISE [from the depression and prostration in which circumstances have kept you–rise to a new life]! Shine (be radiant with the glory of the Lord), for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you! [Zech. 8:23.] For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and dense darkness [all] peoples, but the Lord shall arise upon you [O Jerusalem], and His glory shall be seen on you. [Isa. 60:19-22; Mal. 4:2; Rev. 21:2, 3.] And nations shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising. [Isa. 2:2, 3; Jer. 3:17.]”

Isaiah 60:1-3 AMP

We are the light, the city on a hill cannot be hid, we will shine out of the midst of darkness.

“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do men light a lamp and put it under a peck measure, but on a lamp-stand, and it gives light to all in the house. Let your light so shine before men that they may see your moral excellence and your praiseworthy, noble, and good deeds and recognise and honour and praise and glorify your Father Who is in heaven.”

Matthew 5:14-16 AMP

God desires that we shine like Him and bring glory to his name, so let your light shine in moral excellence, in praise, in nobility, good deeds, in love, patience and endurance, faithful in all things so that others may recognise your excellent work and give praise to your father in heaven.

1 John 1:1-7 AMP

“[WE ARE writing] about the Word of Life [in] Him Who existed from the beginning, Whom we have heard, Whom we have seen with our [own] eyes, Whom we have gazed upon [for ourselves] and have touched with our [own] hands. And the Life [an aspect of His being] was revealed (made manifest, demonstrated), and we saw [as eyewitnesses] and are testifying to and declare to you the Life, the eternal Life [in Him] Who already existed with the Father and Who [actually] was made visible (was revealed) to us [His followers]. What we have seen and [ourselves] heard, we are also telling you, so that you too may realize and enjoy fellowship as partners and partakers with us. And [this] fellowship that we have [which is a distinguishing mark of Christians] is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ (the Messiah). And we are now writing these things to you so that our joy [in seeing you included] may be full [and your joy may be complete]. And this is the message [the message of promise] which we have heard from Him and now are reporting to you: God is Light, and there is no darkness in Him at all [no, not in any way]. [So] if we say we are partakers together and enjoy fellowship with Him when we live and move and are walking about in darkness, we are [both] speaking falsely and do not live and practice the Truth [which the Gospel presents]. But if we [really] are living and walking in the Light, as He [Himself] is in the Light, we have [true, unbroken] fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses (removes) us from all sin and guilt [keeps us cleansed from sin in all its forms and manifestations].”

Join us to embark on this exciting exploit to be filled by the inexhaustible blessings of our Lord Jesus.
